Crow’s Feet reduce & Removal Treatment in Singapore

Everything you need to smooth out those crinkles around your eyes.

What causes crow’s feet?

The muscle around the eye is called "orbicularis oculi". When this muscle tightens, it pulls the skin forward and forms crow's feet.

Crow's feet become more apparent with age because as we get older, our collagen production reduces which leads to a loss in skin elasticity. When we smile or squint regularly, crow's feet develop. Sun exposure can also damage the structures of our skin, leading to permanent wrinkles.

How can I prevent crow’s feet?

Crow's feet are a natural part of aging. You can't stop them from happening, but you can minimize their severity by making some healthy choices.

Stay in shape by exercising regularly and eating a balanced diet. Wear sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays, which can cause wrinkles, including crow's feet. Wear sunglasses on bright days to prevent squinting. And moisturize your face every day morning and night.

Treatments for crow’s feet

There are several different ways to get rid of crow's feet. They usually start out shallow, but they can get deeper over time. That's why it's important to start treating them as soon as possible.

  • Botulinum Toxins (such as Dysport and Botox) are injected directly into the muscles around the eyes. This reduces muscle contraction and thus, reduces the appearance of crow’s feet.

Patients will need approximately 6 - 12 units of Botulinum Toxin per side and will cost from $144 onwards.

  • HIFU (formally known as High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) targets the Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System (SMAS) Layer by emitting ultrasound energy. This energy transforms into thermal energy to stimulate and promotes new collagen growth. As a result, this tightens up the skin to reduce crow’s feet.

Patients will need 3 sessions of HIFU specifically around the eyes and each session cost $250.

  • Rejuran I contains polynucleotides which are DNA fragments found in Salmon. When injected into the skin, these polynucleotide repair damaged skin and promote collagen stimulation. This helps to repair and tighten up the skin to reduce the appearance of crow’s feet. Simultaneously, it also helps to reduce dark eye circles.

Patients will need 3 sessions of Rejuran I, spaced 1 month apart. Each session costs $450.
